AISConfig allows your mobile Android phone or tablet to wirelessly connect to our latest range of Digital Yacht Wireless Class B AIS Transponders; AIT3000, AIT5000 and Nomad.
Once connected, AISConfig can be used to configure the boat details (MMSI number, Boat Name, etc.) in to the transponder and then to monitor the status of the transponder or switch it in ond out of "Silent Mode".This functionality has traditionally been restricted to PCs and Macs running Digital Yachts proAIS2 software, but now with AISConfig you can do everything from your phone or tablet.AISConfig is perfect for Digital Yachts wireless AIT3000, AIT5000 and Nomad units, which feature an internal Wi-Fi server, but it can also be used with the AIT1500 and AIT2000 transponders, in conjunction with one of Digital Yachts WLN10 or WLN30 wireless NMEA servers.AISConfig cannot be used with Digital Yachts older AIT250 and AIT1000 transponders or with the AIT1500N2K unit.Features- Enter the MMSI and other boat data and then wirelessly upload to the transponder- Monitor the supply voltage, GPS reception, AIS reception and VSWR readings- Wirelessly switch the transponder in and out of "Silent Mode"- Display the LED status, avoiding the need to gain access to the transponder- Display the wireless NMEA data for diagnostics purposesFeature improvements in this release include:- Improved stability of TCP connections- Removal of un-neccessary "Sync" page - immediately connects- More feedback on connection status, with re-connect option if wireless link drops- New wireless NMEA "Data View" window on information page for diagnostics- Improved Configuration screen layout

"Even though digital yacht claims to function with android (the reason I bought the nomad model) it apparently does not work with my Galaxy tab A (2017) with Navionics + app. Attempts to get assistance has resulted in the company rep saying the config software is not as 'developed' as the apple version and they would get in touch with me when an upgrade to the config app is available. In the meantime, the may or may not bre transmitting as I have no way of knowing and rarely indicated connection."
